Applications open the first Wednesday of March and September and close the last Wednesday of those months.
When you start a new grant application, you are required to provide a grant title. This value will be used throughout the website as a quick way to identify your grant from others. You will see it in your list of active grants, and we will see it in the list of submitted grants.
We encourage you to use something that describes the main outcome of your grant. Feel free to include your organization's abbreviated name (i.e. acronym) if you want to separate yourself from other similar projectcs.
For example, these would all be effective titles:
We only support PDF files for documents. If you have a Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or Apple Numbers file that you want to upload, you will need to first convert it to a PDF.
All modern computers now have the ability to "print to PDF". A quick search online for "print to PDF" will give you several help articles. Here a guide that covers most computer types. If the link is no longer valid, please use your favorite search engine to find a new one.
We only support documents (pdf) or images (gif, jpg, png). If you have samples that are in another format such as video or audio, then you will need to upload those files to a third-party service and provide a link to those files in your appplication.

Set your permissions correctly
Any link you share must be accessible to anyone with the link. If we are not able to access your files, we will not be able to review them as part of your application. This may limit your opportunities for success.
Yes, all of the input fields have a length limit. This is more of a security issue than an effort to limit how much you choose to write. If you happen to hit one of these limits, then you should reconsider what you have written. We have a limited amount of time to review grant applications, and if your responses are too verbose, we may dismiss your response and move on.
